Cannabis can taste creamy due to the presence and interaction of certain terpenes and volatile compounds that create smooth, buttery, or dessert-like flavor notes. While "creamy" isn’t a terpene itself, it’s a flavor profile that often results from a combination of terpenes with subtle aromatic qualities.

Creamy Terpenes Flavors:

  1. Linalool

    • Found in lavender and some mint species

    • Brings floral, soft, and slightly sweet characteristics that can feel “smooth” or “soft” to the palate, enhancing creamy notes.

  2. Bisabolol

    • A terpene also found in chamomile

    • Offers a light, sweet, floral aroma that adds to a creamy or soothing taste.
